Featured Artist of the Week: Eliy Orcko
Yayy new week new artist! This week I was able to have a conversation with lo-fi rapper Eliy Orcko on my series Pink Mic Talk . We discussed Eliy's unique beginnings, his evolution as an artist, and how he's been able to manage himself as he has continued to grow. Eliy is originally from both Sandy Springs, Florida, and Cleveland, Ohio. Eliy's introduction to music is a story within itself as he was introduced through not the best of circumstances. As we flashback to Eliy's humble beggings around 12-13 years old he was jumped; however, the guy that helped save him began to walk him home. Here Eliy was introduced to the world of music through his punk band where they began to teach him the bass. This would then go onto vocals and Eliy being a regular helping hand for the band throughout shows.
