OMNI Sketch Page 1: Nurturing Your Craft Over Everything

Omni Sketch Page 1 Week 1: I find it important to remind myself and my audience first and foremost before EVERYTHING I am an artist. It's what dictates how I see the world, how I communicate, how I feel, how I love. The lens I view the world is a sensitive one, I pay attention. With all of this attention comes details which plays a great role in the art I create. I have always been fond of my art coming from a fun, loving place one that usually comes from when I'm in love. I prefer happy feelings to echo in my art usually actualized through pinks and warm bright colors. For me, it helps me create healthfully. Lately, I cannot say I am in love but I will forever be in love with the process of growing OMNI. I love nurturing it, and seeing where I can take it, what it can be, not only for me but others. I hope those who identify as girls and women can see what I do and be inspired to truly express themselves and not let anyone stifle them. I would like for these sketch pages to serve as a vessel of inspiration, the aesthetics of an OMNIGIRL. A young woman that is free, and fully enveloped in herself. As she should be! I also, of course, love to hone my drawing skills to not only show the OMNI aesthetics in fashion but in visual art as well. Especially with my roots and essence as a person being firmly planted in the arts. I hope you can enjoy some of the beautiful figures and quotes that I felt fit OMNI this week. This page also features some of my most beautiful friends and acquaintances, those being, Miss Shea and Lai. Both are beautiful young women whom I admire and cannot wait to see in OMNI apparel. I hope to continue to use familiar faces that inspire me to create, so who knows maybe it will be you! But seriously, thank you ladies for letting me use your likenesses and I am excited to see what I make next week. I hope you are too. :)
