Featured Artist of the Week: Xsyki

 

     

                                  

    Everyone welcome Xsyki to the Omni Blog:) Xsyki is a multidisciplinary artist based out of Atlanta, Georgia originally from Macon, Georgia. I was first able to meet Xsyki at my first-ever fashion show back in 2021. I was really drawn to Xsyki's designs as she had a cute, fluffy two-piece that caught my eye. However, throughout all of her years of growing, learning, and changing; Xsyki has had a myriad of creative pursuits. Some of these include canvas painting, body painting, poetry, rapping, and fashion. All of these have come naturally to her as Xsyki comes from a creative family with her father being a painter and her mother being a writer. Therefore, all of these creative pursuits were encouraged and allowed for Xsyki to explore them unapologetically. 

    Now Xsyki is on a new journey in life, of the most divine creation, through pregnancy! This has allowed her to tap back into herself and rediscover who she is as a person through reflection. With this, Xsyki finds herself writing every day as day by day she feels herself changing. As she grows and adapts to this new stage her life is entering she finds herself now honing in on one skill. Xsyki now attends school for Producing and Sound Engineering which she plans to apply to her own music. Not only to be able to produce, write, and rap herself but also to be a woman in the male-dominated producing industry. However, she knows everything is in God's time as she continues on this new path she's on. We're sending love and happiness to Xsyki as she is in her third trimester of having twins! <3
